Association (ARMECAS) was created in 1997 to unite the people who regard ecotourism as a
means of sustainable development of the country. Members of our organization are people of
different professions; most of them are specialists in areas of natural and cultural
heritage and the tourism business.
Asia Pacific Mountain Network
(APMN) is an informal network of individuals and organizations interested in the area of
sustainable mountain development in the Asia Pacific region. It not only addresses the
information needs of the region, but also feeds regional information into the global
Mountain Forum network.
